Site visit/Study tours programme

A FREE-to-DELEGATE programme of Site visits/Study tours has been organised for Friday 26 November.

The free-to-delegate programme of Site visits/study tours organised for Friday 26 November is still open for bookings.  For further information and to book your place on your chosen tour please visit the registration desk at any time during the conference. However, early booking is recommended as numbers are strictly limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The programme is as follows:

SITE VISIT 1 – BATTERSEA POWER STATION REDEVELOPMENT – 10.00am Friday 26 November

 Site visit to Battersea Power Station, which has recently won planning approval for a major redevelopment, followed by a presentation on this exciting project and the 9 Elms extension of the London Underground Northern Line.

Delegates should make their own way to the site to arrive no later than 10.00am and go to Gate 2, 188 Kirtling Street, Battersea, London SW8 5BN. A change into hard hats and boots will be required, so please let us know your shoe size. For details on how to get there please click here to download details.

SITE VISIT 2 – KINGS CROSS REGENERATION AREA – 10.00am Friday 26 November

 Tour of Kings Cross regeneration area, commencing with visit to the highly sustainable, award-winning mixed use Kings Place development - incorporating offices, cultural and canal-side facilities, with presentation by ZZA, the project's Strategic Space Advisors, on the building concept and project processes (approx 45 mins total).

Immediately following this we will proceed to the nearby German Gymnasium located between St Pancras International and Kings Cross stations for a presentation at 11.00am by Argent Group on the Kings Cross regeneration followed by a site tour lasting approx 45 mins. Please note that hard hats will be supplied and you are advised to wear enclosed low heel shoes. Ladies are requested to avoid wearing a dress for the visit for safety reasons. Delegates will then be able to accompany one of our team for a quick walking tour of St Pancras International (approx 25 mins).
